Editor's note: Despite the scorching weather across the country, China's tourism market is enjoying a fruitful season during the peak summer holiday travel period. Data from e-commerce giant Meituan and restaurant-rating app Dazhongdianping show that orders related to tourism have doubled since July compared to the same period in 2019.

Since the onset of summer, there's been a significant increase in daily consumption of services such as dining and leisure activities, with the peak occurring around 7:00 p.m. Third-party data also shows that nighttime consumption in China's 10 most popular business districts has grown by 163% year on year.

Furthermore, there has been a surge in the popularity of evening activities this year. Since July, the search volume for keywords related to "night tours" on these online platforms has risen 180% compared to the previous year, and the number of activities booked during the evening has seen a 155% year-on-year increase.

Here, China.org.cn presents the top 10 most popular night fairs and vibrant business districts across China for the current summer travel season.
