The tearjerker drama, featuring powerful performances of veteran actors Sandra Ng and Simon Yam, is heartwarming yet heartbreaking. It sincerely puts eyes on ordinary people's struggles, love, family bonds, and memories, resonating with wider audiences. With the film set to feature in a retrospective of films in Beijing marking the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, it was sadly announced that director Alex Law passed away on July 2 at 69 due to a heart attack.
