To celebrate the upcoming Qixi Festival, Beijing's Wangfujing shopping area is decorated with themed displays, providing photo opportunities for visitors on Aug. 4, 2024. Qixi Festival, known as Chinese Valentine's Day, falls on Aug. 10 this year. The festival's history dates back to the Han dynasty. Legend has it that girls at that time prayed to Zhinu, the goddess associated with the star Vega, on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, a tradition that continues to this day.
